Summer of Code 2008 is starting up!
Shop LispNYC, we've got cool items available at cafepress
LispNYC is a group devoted to the advocacy and advancement of professional software developers in their adoption of Lisp-based and functional programming technologies such as Common Lisp, Scheme, Arc, Clojure, etc.
We accomplish this through targeted programs of education, outreach, regular monthly meetings, email lists, development projects and spirited conversation with NY metro area Lisp professionals.
Our monthly meetings are held every second Tuesday, are free and open to all.

LispNYC has officially been accepted as a mentoring organization for Google's Summer of Code!

There are three lisp positions (Expert Lisp Developer, Lisp/AI Senior Systems Engineer, Senior Systems Engineer) with GHX/Nuvia which has an office in Nyack NY.
